Privacy Policy

SocialGuard is made by ME MORE COOL PTY. LTD. (ABN 45 611 538 697), Sydney, Australia. It is built so that we never see your social media.

What we collect: nothing about your social media. SocialGuard has no account system and no server for user data; subscriptions are described under Purchases. Your filter settings, daily limit and screen-time counts are stored only on your device.

Filter updates. So that filters keep working when a website changes, the app downloads a small signed rules file from memorecool.au when it starts. The request carries no identifier, account or usage data; like any web request, our hosting provider sees your IP address and device type in its standard logs, which we do not combine with anything else.

The websites you open. Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, Reddit and Snapchat load inside SocialGuard directly from their own servers. When you sign in, your username, password and cookies go directly to that website, as in a normal browser, and are kept in your device's web storage. SocialGuard does not read, store or send them anywhere. Those sites process your data under their own privacy policies. Links to other websites open in your browser.

Blocking the official apps.

• Android. SocialGuard uses the Accessibility Service API only to notice when Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, Reddit or Snapchat comes to the front, so it can open the same platform inside SocialGuard. It does not read screen content, messages or typing, it is limited to those six apps, and nothing leaves your device.
• iPhone. SocialGuard uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. You choose apps in Apple's own picker; SocialGuard receives only opaque tokens and cannot see which apps you chose or how you use them.

Purchases. Subscriptions are handled by the App Store or Google Play. To show plans and know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat. It receives a random ID created by the app, a device identifier that is the same only within our apps (on iPhone, Apple's identifier for vendor), the purchase receipt from the store, basic device data (such as country, language and app version) and whether you bought. We can see this in RevenueCat's dashboard. It never receives your name, email, payment details or anything about your social media. RevenueCat processes this under its own privacy policy.

No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

Deleting data. Uninstalling SocialGuard removes everything it stored, including website sign-ins made inside it.

Children. SocialGuard is not directed to children under 13.

屏蔽官方 app。

• Android：SocialGuard 只用无障碍服务 API 判断 Instagram、YouTube、Facebook、X、Reddit 或 Snapchat 是否被打开，以便在 SocialGuard 里打开同一平台。它不读取屏幕内容、消息或输入，只限这六个 app，任何内容都不离开你的设备。
• iPhone：SocialGuard 使用苹果的屏幕使用时间（Family Controls）框架。你在苹果自己的选择器里选 app，SocialGuard 只拿到不透明的令牌，看不到你选了哪些 app，也看不到你怎么使用它们。

购买。 订阅由 App Store 或 Google Play 处理。为了展示订阅方案、判断订阅是否有效，app 使用 RevenueCat：它收到 app 生成的随机 ID、只在我们自家 app 之间一致的设备标识（iPhone 上为苹果的 identifierForVendor）、商店的购买凭证、基本设备信息（如国家/地区、语言和 app 版本），以及是否购买。我们能在 RevenueCat 后台看到这些。它从不收到你的姓名、邮箱、付款信息或任何社交媒体内容。RevenueCat 按其隐私政策处理这些数据。

不使用统计分析、广告或追踪 SDK。

删除数据。 删除 SocialGuard 即会清除它保存的一切，包括在其中登录的网站账号。

未成年人。 SocialGuard 不面向 13 岁以下用户。
